Key takeaways

  • A Gurgaon gym website should show location, opening hours and a free-trial button on the first screen of every page.
  • Schedules and trainer profiles work best as editable text linked to your booking system, not as poster images.
  • Show what each plan includes whether or not you list prices, and explain why if you ask people to call.
  • Transformation photos need written consent and must not exaggerate results, because the ASCI Code treats them as advertising claims.

What should a gym website in Gurgaon do first?

A gym website in Gurgaon should answer three questions within seconds: where you are, when you are open and how to book a free trial. People search from offices, housing societies and metro platforms, usually on a phone, so the first screen has to do the selling.

The city's fitness crowd is spread out. The second phase of the Rapid Metro runs from Sikanderpur to Sector 55–56, mostly along Golf Course Road, so many office staff train near a station before or after work. Leisure Valley Park in Sector 29 covers more than 15 hectares and draws early-morning runners and walkers. On Sohna Road, the Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex in Sector 38 has boxing, wrestling and athletics grounds alongside its cricket and football venues, according to GMDA, so combat sports and athletic training are part of the local picture too.

For gym website design, that gives you at least three audiences:

  • Office-goers want early and late class times, showers, lockers and parking or metro directions.
  • Society residents want family or couple plans, women's batches if you run them, and a gym within a short drive.
  • Athletes and fighters want coaches' credentials, strength and conditioning programmes and clear sparring rules.

Our website development in Gurgaon page covers the wider service. This post is about what a gym's pages should contain and how they should look.

Which pages does a Gurgaon gym website need?

A focused gym site needs about seven page types: home, classes and schedule, trainers, plans, free trial, results and one location page per branch. Anything beyond that should earn its place.

PageWhat it must showDesign note
HomeLocation, opening hours, a 'Book a free trial' button and photos of your real floorKeep the trial button reachable on every scroll on mobile
Classes & scheduleEach class, its time, trainer, level and capacityWeekly grid on desktop, day-by-day list on phones
TrainersPhoto, certifications, specialities and languages spokenOne short, original profile per trainer
PlansPlan types, duration, inclusions and freeze rulesExplain inclusions even if you do not list prices
Free trialWhatsApp button with a pre-filled message, plus a short formAsk for preferred slot and goal, nothing more
ResultsMember stories with written consent and realistic timelinesNo dramatic before/after grids; see the ASCI section below
LocationMap, landmarks, parking and nearest metro stationOne page per real branch, not one per keyword

Use photos of your own equipment, changing rooms and trainers. Stock pictures of a gym that is not yours set an expectation the first visit will not meet, and that disappointment shows up in reviews.

Design the mobile version first. Put the trial button, the phone number and the map within thumb reach, and keep the menu to five or six items.

How should you show class schedules and trainer profiles?

Show the schedule as live, editable text, not as a picture of a poster. An image of a timetable cannot be read by search engines, is hard to zoom on a phone and goes out of date the first time a trainer changes shift.

  • Filter by time of day: morning, lunch and evening, because members working in Cyber City or along Golf Course Road plan around meetings.
  • Label the level: beginner, intermediate or advanced, so a first-timer does not walk into an advanced HIIT session.
  • Show capacity: 'six spots left' is honest and nudges a booking.
  • Link each class to its trainer: tapping the class card opens the trainer's profile.

Trainer profiles do much of the selling. Include each trainer's real name and photo, the certifications you have actually seen, the classes they lead and the languages they coach in. Some members are more comfortable in Hindi and others in English, so saying so on the profile helps both.

If you run bookings in gym software, the website schedule should come from the same place. Balvira, the gym and akhara management software built by DVM Techno, handles class bookings with capacity and a waitlist that moves the next person up automatically, so the website can send members straight into booking instead of showing a second timetable. See our gym management software page for its features, and our guide to gym and studio management in Gurgaon for class packs and corporate plans.

Should a gym website show membership prices?

Always show what each plan includes; whether to publish the price is a business decision, not a design one. Both approaches work if they are honest.

ApproachWorks well whenWatch out for
Listed plans with pricesYou have a few fixed plans and want fewer price-only callsEvery offer change must reach the site the same day
'Call or WhatsApp for pricing'Prices vary by branch, trainer or corporate tie-upVisitors who want a number may leave, so explain why you ask
Plan structure without pricesYou want people to see value before visitingInclusions must be clear so the call is about fit, not basics

Whatever you choose, list the inclusions: access hours, classes covered, personal training sessions, locker, diet consultation and freeze rules. If you say 'call for pricing', add one line explaining why, for example that plans differ by branch. That reads as service; a bare 'call us' reads as hiding something.

If you advertise a limited-period offer, make the end date real. A countdown that resets on every visit misleads people and undermines trust.

How do you take trial-day bookings on WhatsApp?

Put a 'Book a free trial on WhatsApp' button on every page that opens a chat with the gym's business number and a pre-filled message. It is the shortest path from a search to a visit.

  1. Pre-fill the message: for example, 'Hi, I would like a free trial at your Sohna Road branch on Saturday morning.' The visitor edits a sentence instead of starting from blank.
  2. Offer slots: show two or three trial slots a day so your reply is a confirmation, not a negotiation.
  3. Keep a form option: a three-field form (name, phone, preferred slot) catches people who would rather not use WhatsApp.
  4. Confirm with directions: send the map pin, parking note and what to bring.
  5. Follow up once: after the trial, one message asking how it went, not a daily sales sequence.

A booking form collects personal data, so say what you collect and why, and ask only what you need. The DPDP Rules, 2025 were notified in November 2025 and phase in duties such as notice and consent. Keep health questions off a public trial form; a trainer can ask them in person. This is not legal advice.

Can a Gurgaon gym post transformation photos?

Yes, with the member's written consent and without exaggeration. A before-and-after photo is an advertising claim, and Indian advertising self-regulation treats it as one.

The ASCI Code defines an advertisement to include communication owned or authorised by the advertiser, and lists the internet and digital among media, so your own website and social pages are in scope. Chapter I says claims must be capable of substantiation (1.1), must not mislead through visual presentation or exaggeration (1.4), and must not be so exaggerated that they cause grave or widespread disappointment (1.5). In September 2026 ASCI also released guidelines on AI-generated content in ads that prohibit misleading synthetic representations of product results.

  • Get written consent for each photo, naming where it will appear and how the member can withdraw it.
  • Give context: the time period, the programme followed and a plain note that results vary.
  • No edited or AI-made bodies: publish only real, unretouched photos you have permission to use.
  • Avoid shaming: ASCI's guideline on harmful gender stereotypes says ads should not imply that an overweight person struggles to find a job or partner because of it.
  • Let members choose: many will share a written story without a photo, and that still persuades.

How do you target Golf Course Road, Sohna Road and New Gurgaon searches?

Build one location page per real branch, then connect it to the areas around it through its content, its map and your Google Business Profile. Do not create pages for sectors where you have no branch.

People search 'gym near me', 'gym in Sector 49' or 'yoga studio Golf Course Road'. A branch page should name the sectors, societies and landmarks around you, the nearest metro station and how long it takes from the main office areas. Google's spam policies treat near-identical pages created to rank for similar place searches as doorway abuse, so every page has to be genuinely different.

  • Google Business Profile: use your real-world name without added keywords, an address staffed during your listed hours, and as few, specific categories as possible, as Google's guidelines require. Add a secondary category such as yoga studio only if it is a real part of the business.
  • Same details everywhere: name, address and phone identical on the site, the profile and social pages.
  • Reviews: ask members after a good experience, at a sensible pace, and reply to every review.
  • New Gurgaon: if your branch serves the newer sectors, name the sector and nearby societies plainly, because that is how residents search.
  • Hindi and English: a Hindi version of key pages helps members who search in Hindi.

Frequently Asked Questions

What pages should a gym website in Gurgaon have?

Most gyms need a home page, a class schedule, trainer profiles, a plans page, a free-trial page with a WhatsApp button, a results page with consented member stories, and one location page per branch. Each location page should show the map, opening hours, nearest metro station and parking. Add pages for programmes such as boxing or yoga only if you actually run them.

Should my gym website list membership prices?

It depends on your plans. If you have a few fixed plans, listing them saves price-only calls, but you must update the site whenever offers change. If prices vary by branch or trainer, show the inclusions and invite people to WhatsApp for current pricing, with one line explaining why. Either way, list what each plan includes and the freeze rules.

Can I use before-and-after photos on my gym website?

You can, with each member's written consent and with honest context such as the time taken and the programme followed. The ASCI Code requires claims to be capable of substantiation and not misleading through visuals or exaggeration. Do not retouch photos or use AI-generated bodies, and avoid copy that shames people for their weight. This is general guidance, not legal advice.

How can my gym appear for 'gym near me' searches in Gurgaon?

Keep an accurate Google Business Profile for each staffed branch, using your real name and specific categories. Link it to a branch page that names nearby sectors, societies and the nearest metro station, and keep the name, address and phone identical everywhere. Ask members for reviews and reply to them. Results depend on the searcher's location, so no one can guarantee a position.

Can my gym website take class bookings?

Yes. The simplest way is for 'Book' buttons on the website to open your gym software's booking screen, so bookings, capacity and waitlists stay in one system. Balvira, built by DVM Techno, handles class bookings with capacity and automatic waitlists and has an installable member app. A website that keeps its own separate booking list usually creates double entry.
