Jhajjar

Built for Haryana's brick district.

Jhajjar district, in the National Capital Region, has four sub-divisions: Jhajjar, Bahadurgarh, Badli and Beri. In 2019 The Tribune called it the largest brick-producing district in Haryana, with 371 kilns employing more than 70,000 skilled and unskilled workers directly and indirectly, and bricks supplied across Delhi and the NCR. Most of these kilns had moved to zig-zag induced-draft technology on the directions of the CPCB and EPCA. In 2022 the paper put the number of licensed kilns at 368 and reported that the production session starts on March 1.

The rules tighten year by year. A Ministry of Environment notification of 22 February 2022 allows only zig-zag, vertical-shaft or PNG-fired kilns and bars pet coke, tyres, plastic and hazardous waste as fuel. Under the Commission for Air Quality Management's standard list of approved fuels, in force across the whole NCR from 1 January 2023, coal is permitted only in thermal power plants. In 2022 the state let only one-third of Jhajjar's licensed kilns run, chosen by draw, and in 2017 pre-monsoon rain shut kilns about 20 days early and damaged raw bricks. So every week of the season counts, and the records have to be right.

Our branch is in Kasni, in Jhajjar district, and our main office is in Sector 84, Gurgaon. We can visit your kiln to see how the munshi keeps the registers today before we build anything. The software keeps clear records of work, payments and fuel bills. It does not make a kiln compliant with pollution or labour rules by itself.

What makes a bhatta different

  • Moulding is paid by piece rate, so the daily count of bricks for each pathera or group has to be agreed and recorded
  • Advances are given early in the season and settled at the end, so every entry needs a date and a clear running balance
  • Bricks move from kacchi (green) stock to the kiln to pakki (fired) stock, sorted by the quality grades your kiln uses
  • The season is short and weather can end it early, so stock, dispatch and dues must be visible every day
  • Kilns are often in fields with weak mobile signal, so the software has to work without internet

FAQs

Bhatta Software in Jhajjar — FAQs.

Straight answers to what Jhajjar business owners ask before they start.

Have another question?

Call or WhatsApp — Mon–Sat, 9 AM – 7 PM.

Will it work at the kiln without internet?

Yes. It can be built to save every entry on the phone or PC first and sync when a signal is available. Entries made offline are not lost, and the owner sees them at home once the device connects.

Can the screens be in Hindi?

Yes. Screens, labels and reports can be in Hindi, with English where you prefer it. Names of workers, grades and customers are entered the way your munshi already writes them.

Can partners and the munshi have separate access?

Yes. Each person gets their own login. A munshi can enter counts, advances and challans; partners can see reports and dues. Who can edit or delete an entry is your choice, and changes are logged.

How are piece-rate counts and advances shown to workers?

Each worker's counts, rate, advances and payments add up to a running balance. A statement can be printed or sent on WhatsApp, so the worker and the jamadar see the same figures as the owner.

What happens at the end of the season?

At season close the software settles worker balances, carries forward unsold stock and customer dues, and keeps last season's records separate, so you can compare one season with another.

Is our data backed up?

Yes. Data is backed up to the cloud or to your own drive on a schedule you choose, so a lost or broken phone does not mean lost records. Your data always belongs to you.

Will the software make our kiln compliant with pollution or labour rules?

No software can promise that. It keeps clear, dated records of work, payments, fuel bills and dispatch, which helps when you need to show them, but meeting the rules stays with the kiln. Rates and payment terms are set by you within the law that applies.
