Jhajjar
The district headquarters, on camera.
Jhajjar is the headquarters of Jhajjar district, which is divided into four sub-divisions: Jhajjar, Bahadurgarh, Badli and Beri. The town itself had 48,424 people at the 2011 Census, and the whole district 958,405, of whom about 22 per cent lived in towns. Jhajjar lies about 55 km west of Delhi on NH-352, the road that joins Rewari to Rohtak, so its shops, clinics and offices serve the town and a ring of villages whose people come in to buy, see a doctor or visit a government office.
That mix decides what a camera has to do here. A shop counter needs faces and cash recorded clearly, not just movement; a clinic needs its entrance and waiting area covered without filming a consultation; a house needs the gate, the parking and the back wall watched at night, when nobody is looking out. Public places in the town are being watched more closely as well: in July 2024 The Tribune reported that the Deputy Commissioner told the Jhajjar depot of Haryana Roadways to put CCTV cameras at the entry and exit points of the local bus stand to monitor the movement of visitors.
Police in other Haryana districts have asked traders to play their part. In December 2024 the Kurukshetra SP appealed to shopkeepers and market associations to install CCTV at their establishments and to keep coverage towards the main road as well, saying clear footage helps identify offenders. DVM Techno does not have an office in Jhajjar town. Our CCTV team works from our branch in Kasni, Jhajjar district, and our main office is in Sector 84, Gurgaon; site surveys and installations in Jhajjar are booked by phone or WhatsApp.

What a Jhajjar camera plan has to cover
- Shop counters where faces and cash must be clear, not just movement
- Clinic entrances and waiting areas, kept away from consultation and examination rooms
- House gates, parking and back walls that are dark after sunset
- Market frontages where a camera facing the road also records who passes the shop
- Owners who want to check the shop from home in the evening, on the phone
CCTV Camera Installation
Cameras for shops, clinics and homes in Jhajjar.
We match each camera to a spot in a Jhajjar shop, clinic or house, rather than fitting the same model everywhere.
- Shop counter & doorAn HD dome camera over the counter and a bullet camera at the entrance, placed so faces are recorded where people stop and pay.
- Clinic reception & waiting areaCameras at the entrance, reception and medicine counter, with consultation rooms left out of view to protect patients' privacy.
- Video door phone for homesA video intercom at the gate lets you see and speak to a visitor before opening, alongside a colour night-vision camera that records the gate in full colour after dark.
- Live view on your phoneEvery system is set up with a mobile app for live footage, playback and motion alerts, and tested on your phone before we leave.
- AI motion alertsAlerts for people and vehicles instead of every moving leaf or stray animal, so a night-time alert is worth opening.
- Cloud backup optionFootage can be backed up to the cloud for 7 to 30 days, so the record survives even if the recorder is stolen.

FAQs
CCTV Camera Installation in Jhajjar — FAQs.
Straight answers to what Jhajjar families and shopkeepers ask before they start.
Who installs CCTV cameras in Jhajjar?
DVM Techno installs CCTV cameras for shops, clinics, offices and homes in Jhajjar town. The team comes from our branch at Kasni in Jhajjar district, starts with a free site survey and gives a written quote before any work. Call or WhatsApp +91-8448523313 to book the survey.
Do shops in Jhajjar need CCTV?
We know of no rule that makes every small shop in Jhajjar fit cameras, so for most shopkeepers it is a choice. Police officers in Haryana have openly asked for it, though: in December 2024 the Kurukshetra SP appealed to shopkeepers to install cameras and to cover the main road outside as well. A camera over the counter and one at the door is a sensible start for most shops.
How do I watch my CCTV on my phone?
The recorder, or a WiFi camera, is connected to the internet at your shop or house, and the camera maker's app on your phone is linked to it. We set this up and test it during installation, so you can see live footage, play back recordings and get motion alerts. Viewing needs a working internet connection at the site; if it drops, a wired system keeps recording to the recorder.
Do I need permission to put CCTV outside my shop or house in Jhajjar?
The sources we checked describe no general licence for a camera on your own property, and Haryana police officers have asked traders to install cameras and even cover the road in front. Keep cameras on your own wall, do not aim them into a neighbour's house, a washroom or a changing area, and put up a notice that the area is under CCTV. For a camera on a public pole, a rented building or a housing society, ask the landlord, society or local authority first. Recordings of people are personal information, and PRS notes that the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 applies to personal data processed in digital form, so share clips only with the police or people who need them. This is general information, not legal advice.
Do CCTV cameras record during power cuts?
Only while they have power. Cameras, the recorder and the router run on mains electricity, so in a power cut they stop unless they are connected to an inverter or UPS. Footage recorded before the cut stays on the recorder's hard disk. If your house or shop in Jhajjar has an inverter, tell us during the site survey so the recorder can be placed near a socket on backup.
How many CCTV cameras does a shop or clinic in Jhajjar need?
It depends on the doors, the counter and the number of floors, which is why we survey first. A small shop often starts with one camera over the counter, one at the door and one facing the road outside. A clinic usually adds the reception and the medicine counter. A house typically needs the gate, the parking and any back or roof access covered.
Will the cameras show faces clearly at night?
Standard cameras switch to black-and-white infrared at night. For gates and lanes we recommend colour night-vision cameras, which record in full colour after dark so faces, vehicles and clothing are easier to identify.
Which CCTV brands do you install in Jhajjar?
We install cameras from Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus, Uniview, Prama, Honeywell and Bosch, and help you choose between them for your shop, clinic or home during the site survey.
