Niwada
Old cameras, a new picture.
Niwada is a small village in Jhajjar district near the Bhindawas Bird Sanctuary, about 15 km by road from Jhajjar town. Wikipedia, using 2011 Census figures, gives it 1,009 people in 194 households and lists Dhakla, Kasni, Kanwah, Redhuwas and Kohndrawali as its neighbouring villages. Agriculture is the main source of income, some residents serve in the armed forces, the police or the civil service, and the village has a government middle school, a dispensary and a veterinary hospital. Kasni, where our installation team is based, is next door.
CCTV has been in village homes and shops for years now, so many of the systems still running are old analogue ones: a box DVR in a cupboard, four or eight cameras on coaxial cable, a picture that was acceptable once but looks blurred next to any phone camera, and a recorder that no longer connects to an app. The question is whether to replace everything or to upgrade in steps, and the answer depends mostly on the state of the cable already in the walls.
There are two upgrade paths. The first keeps the coaxial cable: HD analogue cameras and a matching HD DVR send a much sharper picture over the same cable, so the walls do not have to be opened again. The second moves to IP. As Wikipedia's article on network video recorders explains, a DVR encodes video at the recorder, while with an NVR the video is encoded at each camera and sent over a network. IP cameras need new network cable, but they give the sharpest detail and are easy to add to. Hybrid NVR/DVR recorders, which handle both kinds of camera, let a house move across in stages.

What we check on an old Niwada system
- The condition of the coaxial cable and its joints, especially outdoors
- The power supply box and adaptors feeding the cameras
- Whether the DVR still records, and for how many days
- Whether the DVR can connect to a phone app at all
- Which camera positions are still right, and which were never useful
CCTV Camera Installation
Upgrade options for an old CCTV system in Niwada.
We start from what is already on the walls in Niwada, and replace only what needs replacing.
- HD cameras on existing cableHD analogue cameras and a new HD DVR give a far sharper picture over the coaxial cable you already have.
- Move to IP and an NVRNew IP cameras on network cable, with Power over Ethernet carrying both power and video on one run.
- Hybrid recorder for stagesA recorder that takes both old and new cameras, so you can upgrade a few cameras at a time.
- Colour at the gateSwap the grey night picture at the gate for a camera that records in colour after dark.
- A phone app that worksA current recorder brings live view, playback and alerts back to your phone.
- Cable and power checkJoints, connectors and power supplies are checked, because many old faults are in the wiring, not the camera.

FAQs
CCTV Camera Installation in Niwada — FAQs.
Straight answers to what Niwada families and shopkeepers ask before they start.
Who installs and upgrades CCTV cameras in Niwada, Jhajjar?
DVM Techno does, from its branch office in Kasni, which Wikipedia lists as one of Niwada's neighbouring villages. We install new systems and upgrade old analogue ones: HD cameras with a DVR, IP cameras with an NVR, colour night-vision, WiFi and PTZ cameras, with live viewing on your phone. A free site survey and a written quote come first. Call or WhatsApp +91-8448523313, Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM.
Can I upgrade my old CCTV without changing the wiring?
Often, yes. If the coaxial cable is in good condition, HD analogue cameras and a matching HD DVR can use it, giving a much clearer picture without opening the walls. Cable that has been cut, badly joined or left in the sun for years may need replacing in places, which the survey will show.
Should I switch from a DVR to an NVR?
If you want the sharpest picture, smarter alerts and room to add cameras, IP cameras on an NVR are the long-term choice, but they need network cable. If the coaxial cable is sound and the budget is tight, an HD DVR system is a solid step up. A hybrid recorder lets you do both in stages.
Can I keep some of my old cameras?
With a hybrid or HD DVR, old analogue cameras can often keep working beside new HD or IP cameras, so you replace the ones that matter most first, such as the gate. Very old cameras with a poor picture are usually not worth keeping; the survey tells you which ones are.
Why can't I see my old DVR on my phone any more?
Older DVRs often relied on apps or remote-access services that are no longer updated, and some never supported phone viewing well. A current recorder linked to the maker's app fixes this, and it is also the moment to replace any default password the old system still uses.
What happens to the recordings on my old DVR?
If you need footage from the old DVR, tell us before the upgrade so it can be copied off first. Recordings on the old recorder's disk are not carried over to the new recorder automatically.
How do I know if the cable or the camera is the problem?
A picture that flickers, rolls, shows lines or drops out in the rain, or cameras failing one after another at the same joint, usually points to cable or power trouble. A camera that is simply old gives a soft, noisy picture in all weather. We check both at the survey.
Which cameras and brands can I upgrade to in Niwada?
HD dome and bullet cameras that work on existing coaxial cable with an HD DVR, IP cameras on an NVR, colour night-vision cameras for the gate, WiFi cameras for rooms that were never wired, cloud cameras whose footage is viewed and stored through the maker's cloud app, PTZ cameras for a large plot and a video door phone. We install Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus, Uniview, Prama, Honeywell and Bosch.
