Charkhi Dadri was notified as the 22nd district of Haryana on 1 December 2016, carved out of Bhiwani district, with two sub-divisions, Charkhi Dadri and Badhra, and its headquarters about 112 km from New Delhi. The Tribune counts it among the eight South Haryana districts where bajra is mainly sown, and in April 2024 the Charkhi Dadri Arhtiya Association told the paper that about 5.25 lakh quintal of mustard had arrived in the Charkhi Dadri mandi that season, with 2 lakh quintal still waiting to be lifted.
Much of the paperwork is now digital and runs on government systems. Crops are registered on the Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal, farmers can generate gate passes that are checked by QR code at the mandi gate through the e-Kharid app, and digital J-forms (the official sale receipt) reach farmers on their mobile phones. For crops bought by government agencies at MSP, payment goes online straight to the farmer's bank account, and the Centre has said it has no intention of removing arhtiyas from the mandi system. An arhtiya's software does not replace those portals; it keeps the firm's own books straight through the rush.

Your firm's side: each farmer's khata and advances, lots and buyers, private-trade sales, commission and charges as configured, buyer payments and your own ledgers.
Can it calculate mandi fee and aadhat?
Yes, at the rates you set. No rate is built in; you enter the mandi fee, levies and commission as notified by the government for each crop, and change them when a notification changes.
How does it handle season close?
At season end the software shows every farmer, buyer and lot that is still open, closes the season's books, and carries balances into the next season. Old farmers and buyers can be imported from Excel before the first season.
Who can see our farmers' and buyers' data?
Only the people you give a login to, each with a role. Data is backed up regularly and always belongs to you; you can export it at any time, and the source code is handed over at the end of the project.
