Key takeaways

  • A Charkhi Dadri practice is best served by a small, fast site in Hindi and English that answers the questions local clients actually ask.
  • Habits that are normal for shops, such as logos, taglines, festival banners and review widgets, are not allowed on a CA website under ICAI's Code of Ethics, 2026.
  • Builders and custom sites can both work, as long as testimonial blocks, price tables and ad slots in the template are removed.
  • Write 'Charkhi Dadri, Haryana' in full everywhere, so search engines and people do not confuse the town with Dadri in Uttar Pradesh.

What kind of CA website suits a practice in Charkhi Dadri?

For most chartered accountants in Charkhi Dadri, the right website is small, factual and bilingual: who you are, where your office is, what services you provide and clear explainers in Hindi and English. It does not need animation or long sales copy, and under ICAI's rules it must not contain any.

Charkhi Dadri became Haryana's 22nd district on 1 December 2016. The district administration lists two sub-divisions and tehsils, Charkhi Dadri and Badhra, and a sub-tehsil at Bondkalan. The town is the main marketplace for the surrounding villages, with its own food and grain markets, a Food Corporation of India godown, and shopping areas such as the main market and Hira Chowk.

That shapes your client base. A typical practice here serves traders and shopkeepers, people whose families earn from farming, small contractors, and salaried and government employees. Many prefer to talk in Hindi, many first look you up on a phone, and most want to know one thing before they walk in: is this a real, qualified CA office near me?

Which ICAI rules matter most for a small CA website?

The rules that trip up small practices are the ones about presentation: no logo, no catch words, no testimonials, no fee figures and no event photos beyond professional events. They are set out in ICAI's Code of Ethics, 2026, in force from 1 April 2026, in Chapter 3. This is a summary, not legal or professional advice.

Common habitWhat the Code saysCompliant version
A designed firm logo in the headerFirm logos or monograms are prohibited on any media, including the internet (para 2.14.1.7(xvii))Firm name in plain text; the CA India logo only as its guidelines allow
A tagline such as 'Your trusted tax partner'No catch words (para 3.1.3(G)); no exaggerated claims (para 3.1.3(B))Name, 'Chartered Accountants', address
Google review widget or client quotesNo testimonials or endorsements (para 3.1.3(E))Leave reviews on Google; none on the site
'Fees starting from' or package tablesFees charged cannot be given (para 3.3.7(xiii))Describe what each service covers
Diwali or Holi party photos on the websiteNo photographs of events (para 3.1.3(H)); professional-event gallery allowed (para 3.3.9)Passport-style partner photos; seminar photos where a partner spoke
Education videos ending with the website addressEducational videos should not contain the website address (para 2.14.1.6(iv)(Q))Show designation, firm name, office address, phone and email

One more rule applies after launch: you may print the website address on letterheads and email, but you may not issue circulars or messages asking people to visit the site (para 3.3.5). No 'we are now online' broadcast.

Should you use a website builder or a custom site?

Either can work for a small practice; what matters is that the finished site contains only what ICAI permits, loads fast on a basic phone and is easy for you to update. Compare honestly on effort, control and how much template content you will have to remove.

OptionSuitsWatch out for
Google SitesA very simple information pageLimited layout, SEO and form options
Wix or similar buildersPractices that want to edit pages themselvesTemplates often include testimonial, pricing and promo blocks to delete
WordPressPractices that will publish many explainersNeeds updates and security care; plugins can add ads or pop-ups
Custom-built siteFirms that want a client document login or bilingual structure from day oneNeeds a developer for structural changes

Whatever you choose, check the template for hidden extras: star ratings, 'clients we serve' logo strips, chat pop-ups that push offers, or ad slots. Paragraph 3.3.16 does not allow banner or any other advertisement on the website.

What pages should a Charkhi Dadri CA website have?

Six or seven pages are enough: home, about and partners, services, explainers, office and map, careers and contact. Each one maps to something the Code allows you to display.

  • Home: firm name, year of establishment, office address and phone, and short links to services and explainers.
  • About and partners: each partner's name, qualifications, area of experience and contact details, with a passport-style photo. Peer Review status may be stated if you have it.
  • Services: factual pages for income-tax returns, GST registration and returns, TDS, books of accounts, and audit. Keep audit and attestation information in pull mode: on the site for those who look, never sent out.
  • Explainers: plain articles in Hindi and English. Paragraph 3.3.10 allows blogs, articles and educational videos.
  • Office and map: address exactly as registered with ICAI, an embedded Google Map, hours and directions from Hira Chowk or the bus stand.
  • Careers: articleship and staff vacancies, which the guidelines specifically allow.
  • Contact: phone, email, a short form and a WhatsApp chat link for people who choose to message you.

How should you write for Charkhi Dadri clients in Hindi and English?

Publish each important page in both languages on separate URLs, and write the way you explain things across the desk: short sentences, local examples, no jargon without a meaning beside it. Google's guidance on localized versions recommends separate URLs for each language version, which also lets people share the Hindi page directly.

Good explainer topics for a town that is a marketplace for surrounding villages:

  • How agricultural income is treated for income-tax, and when a return is still worth filing.
  • What a trader needs before applying for GST registration, linking to the GST portal.
  • How to read Form 26AS and the Annual Information Statement on the income-tax e-filing portal.
  • What documents to bring for a first meeting, as a printable list.
  • Return and GST due dates for the current year, on one dated page you update from official sources.

Educational content must stay objective. Explain the rule, link the official source, and avoid lines like 'come to us to save tax', which turn an article into solicitation.

How can a Charkhi Dadri CA office be found on Google without soliciting?

Be accurate and findable: a correct Google Business Profile, the full place name everywhere, and useful pages that people reach when they search. Being found when someone searches is pull; you are not sending anything out.

  1. Write 'Charkhi Dadri, Haryana' in full in the page titles, address and profile. There is also a Dadri in Uttar Pradesh, and the full name avoids confusion.
  2. Set up the profile by the rules: Google's Business Profile guidelines say the business name must not include keywords, and the address must be a real location. Use the firm name exactly as registered with ICAI.
  3. Add a Badhra page only if you really have an office there. Otherwise a factual 'clients from Badhra and Bondkalan' line is enough.
  4. Do not ask clients for reviews or put review badges on the site; testimonials are barred.
  5. List where ICAI encourages it: members are encouraged to use ICAI's CA Connect portal, while listing on app-based aggregators is not permitted for services reserved for CAs (para 3.5).

Our local SEO guide explains the wider basics, such as consistent name, address and phone details and page speed, which apply to any small office.

What should you check before the site goes live?

Run a short compliance and accuracy check, because once the site is public it is your professional responsibility. Paragraph 3.3.14 warns that ICAI can act on content or technical features that breach the Code, on its own or on a complaint.

  1. Names, membership details and addresses match ICAI's records (para 3.3.21).
  2. No client names unless the client has given permission, and for audit work the client's name only (para 3.3.7(xiii)).
  3. No fees, testimonials, awards, taglines, logos or superlatives anywhere, including image alt text.
  4. The domain is close to the firm or member name (para 3.3.20).
  5. The enquiry form asks only for what you need and explains how the data is used, in line with the DPDP Rules, 2025.
  6. Pages load quickly on mobile data and work in both languages.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does a small CA practice in Charkhi Dadri need a website?

It is not mandatory, but it helps people verify that your office is real and qualified, find the address and read basic explainers before calling. A small bilingual site with partner details, services, an office map and a few articles is usually enough, as long as it follows ICAI's website guidelines in the Code of Ethics, 2026.

Can a CA firm use its own logo on its website?

No. ICAI's Council has prohibited the use of a logo or monogram of any kind by members in practice and CA firms on display material and media, including the internet. The firm name should appear in plain text. The CA India logo may be used, subject to ICAI's separate CA logo guidelines.

Can I put Diwali greetings or office party photos on my CA website?

Not on the website. The advertisement guidelines say a write-up should not contain photographs of events. The website guidelines allow passport-style photos of people in the firm and a gallery of professional events the firm organised or where partners lectured. Festival photos are allowed only on social networking sites, without advertisement.

Is a Wix or WordPress site acceptable for a CA firm?

Yes, the platform does not matter to ICAI; the content does. Remove any template blocks for testimonials, client logos, pricing, promotional pop-ups or ads, because the Code bars testimonials, fee figures and advertisements on a CA website. Check that the site is fast on mobile and easy for you to keep accurate.

Should my CA website be in Hindi as well as English?

In Charkhi Dadri it usually helps, because many clients are more comfortable reading Hindi. Put each language on its own URL and link the two versions, as Google recommends for localized pages. Keep both versions equally accurate, and make sure the Hindi text follows the same ICAI rules as the English text.
