Key takeaways
- Many Faridabad patients and their families prefer Hindi, so build key pages in both Hindi and English and link them properly.
- Give directions by sector, landmark and Violet Line station, from NIT and Old Faridabad to Ballabhgarh and Greater Faridabad.
- Labs and clinics that offer home sample collection should list the areas they really cover; a service-area profile must stay within about two hours' drive.
- Under the 2002 ethics regulations, a website should inform, not solicit: no testimonials, no cure claims, registration numbers shown.

What should a clinic website in Faridabad focus on?
A clinic website in Faridabad should be simple, bilingual and practical: what you treat, where you are by sector and landmark, your timings, and a one-tap call or WhatsApp button. Patients here often book on behalf of parents or children, so clarity matters more than design flourishes.
Faridabad is a major industrial hub of Haryana, about 25 km from New Delhi, with neighbourhoods ranging from Old Faridabad and NIT to Ballabhgarh and Greater Faridabad. The city's government medical college hospital is the ESIC Medical College, Faridabad. A private clinic site sits alongside these options, so it has to explain quickly what you offer and when you are open.
- Timings first: show morning and evening OPD hours on the home page, including Sunday hours if you have them.
- Hindi and English: the location, timings, first-visit and booking pages in both languages.
- Directions that work: sector, landmark and nearest metro station, not only a pin.
- Light pages: small images so the site opens quickly on mobile data.
Where do Faridabad patients come from, and how should the site guide them?
Patients come from distinct parts of the city, each with its own landmarks, so write directions the way locals give them. The Violet Line, extended into Faridabad in 2015 and to Raja Nahar Singh station in Ballabhgarh in 2018, is the easiest shared reference.
| Part of the city | Violet Line stations and references | What to add on the site |
|---|---|---|
| Northern stretch, towards Delhi | Sarai, NHPC Chowk, Mewla Maharajpur and Sector 28 stations | Travel time from South Delhi, if you see patients from there |
| Central Faridabad, including Old Faridabad and NIT | Badkhal Mor, Old Faridabad, Neelam Chowk Ajronda and Bata Chowk stations | Block or market name, floor, entrance and parking |
| Southern stretch to Ballabhgarh | Escorts Mujesar, Sant Surdas (Sihi) and Raja Nahar Singh stations | Directions from the metro and the main road |
| Greater Faridabad | Newer sectors 66 to 89 | Route from the older parts of the city, sample collection coverage |
Greater Faridabad, also called Neharpar, is the newly developed residential and industrial part of the city covering sectors 66 to 89. Families moving into new towers there often search for a nearby clinic or lab, so a clear page on how to reach you, or whether you collect samples there, is worth writing.
Ask your receptionist how they give directions on the phone, word for word. That script, cleaned up, is the best directions text you can put on the location page.
Should a Faridabad clinic website be in Hindi, English or both?
For most Faridabad clinics, both: Hindi for the pages patients and families use to reach and book you, English for detailed service information and for patients who search in English. Do it as real translated pages, not a widget that machine-translates on the fly.
- Write the Hindi pages in everyday Hindi, keeping common English medical words patients use, such as "X-ray" or "root canal".
- Give each language its own URL, for example /hi/ for Hindi pages.
- Tell Google about the pairs with hreflang; Google's guidance says each language version must list itself and all other versions, using codes such as "hi" and "en".
- Add a clear language switch at the top of every page.
- Keep timings and doctor details identical in both versions; update them together.
Which pages and features does a Faridabad clinic site need?
Start with the pages that answer booking questions, then add service pages and, for labs, home collection pages. Every page should end with a clear way to call, WhatsApp or request an appointment.
| Page or feature | Why it matters in Faridabad | Keep it accurate by |
|---|---|---|
| Timings and holidays | Shift workers and families plan around OPD hours | Updating before every festival and holiday |
| Doctor profiles | Patients check qualifications and registration | Showing registration number and council |
| Services | Patients search for a specific treatment or test | One page per service, explained plainly |
| Home sample collection | Useful for elderly patients and new sectors | Listing only the areas you really cover |
| Insurance or company panels | Patients ask before visiting | Naming only arrangements you actually have |
| Reports and results | Labs get many "is my report ready" calls | A secure method, never public links |
| Appointment request | Most bookings start on a phone | A short form plus WhatsApp |
These are the same building blocks we use for website development in Faridabad, adapted for the care a medical site needs.
What can a Faridabad clinic say online under the medical ethics rules?
Inform, do not solicit. The NMC's 2023 conduct regulations were held in abeyance on 23 August 2023, so the 2002 ethics regulations still guide what a doctor's website may contain. This is general information, not legal advice.
Clause 6.1.1 of the 2002 regulations treats soliciting patients as unethical and bars boasting of cases, operations, cures or remedies. It does allow a formal announcement on specific events, which map neatly onto useful website updates:
- Starting practice, or a change in the type of practice.
- A change of address, such as moving to a new sector.
- Temporary absence from duty, and resuming practice.
- Succeeding to another practice.
- A public declaration of charges.
Beyond that, show your registration number (clause 1.4.1), use only recognised degrees after your name (1.4.2), and publish identifiable patient photos only with permission (7.17). The Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954 rules out false claims about drugs and advertising remedies for diseases in its Schedule, so avoid any "guaranteed cure" wording, in Hindi or English.
How should appointment and WhatsApp requests handle patient data?
Collect the minimum, explain why in plain Hindi and English, and keep reports off open channels. Appointment forms and WhatsApp chats hold personal data under the DPDP Act, 2023.
The DPDP Rules, 2025 were notified on 13 November 2025. They require a notice in clear and plain language that lists the data and its purpose, a way to withdraw consent as easily as it was given, reasonable security safeguards and breach reporting; these duties start 18 months after notification.
- Ask only for name, phone, preferred time and the service or doctor.
- Show a short bilingual notice and an unticked consent box.
- Route requests to a protected clinic inbox or system.
- For labs, deliver reports through a secure method and confirm the patient's identity first.
- Delete old enquiries on a fixed schedule.
How do you show up for "clinic near me" searches across Faridabad?
Get the Google Business Profile right, link it to a strong location page, and add area pages only where you have something real to say. Search results for nearby clinics lean heavily on the profile.
- Profiles: Google's guidelines let individual practitioners have a profile, and ask a location with several practitioners to have its own profile for the organisation. Use your real name with no keywords.
- Home collection: a lab that also visits patients can show a service area, which Google says should not extend beyond about two hours' driving time from the base.
- Appointment link: add an appointment link to your booking page.
- Structured data: mark up the location page with MedicalClinic details: address, hours, phone.
- Area pages: a Greater Faridabad page makes sense if you collect samples there or many patients come from there; avoid near-identical pages for every sector.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Faridabad clinic website really need Hindi pages?
For most clinics it helps. Many patients and family members are more comfortable reading directions, timings and booking steps in Hindi. Build proper Hindi pages with their own URLs, link them to the English versions with hreflang, and keep both updated together. Detailed service pages can start in English and be translated as you go.
How should a Faridabad clinic give directions on its website?
Use the sector or block, a well-known landmark and the nearest Violet Line station, such as Badkhal Mor, Neelam Chowk Ajronda or Raja Nahar Singh. Add the floor, entrance and parking details, and embed a map. Patients from Greater Faridabad may need a separate note on the route from the older parts of the city.
Can a diagnostic lab in Faridabad list home sample collection areas?
Yes, if it genuinely collects there. List the sectors or areas covered, the timings and how to book. On Google Business Profile, a lab that visits patients can set a service area, which Google says should stay within about two hours' drive of the base. Do not list areas you cannot serve reliably.
What should a Faridabad doctor avoid putting on the website?
Avoid patient testimonials, success stories, "best doctor" claims and anything promising a cure. The 2002 ethics regulations, still applicable while the 2023 NMC regulations are in abeyance, bar soliciting patients and boasting of cures, and the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act bars certain disease claims. This is general information, not legal advice.
Is it safe to send lab reports on WhatsApp?
Only if the patient asks for it and you are sure you have the right number. Reports are personal data under the DPDP Act, and a wrong recipient is a breach. A safer default is a secure report download or collection at the counter, with WhatsApp used just to tell the patient the report is ready.
