Bahadurgarh
Built for a town that makes galvanised pipe.
Wikipedia lists galvanised steel pipe among the products Bahadurgarh specialises in, alongside sanitary ware, china ware and footwear. The Haryana Government has developed about 200 hectares of industrial land in the town, and HSIIDC a further area of about 250 hectares. Wikipedia's Jhajjar district article names engineering among the district's basic industries and says Bahadurgarh accounts for about 3,000 of the district's 3,300 industries.
The Bureau of Indian Standards product manual for IS 1239 (Part 1), the standard for steel tubes, covers welded and seamless tubes in light, medium and heavy classes, black or galvanised. It treats all tubes of one size, grade and class made in one shift on one tube mill as a control unit, asks for batch details on each bundle tag that trace back to factory records, and lets galvanising be outsourced only to another IS 1239 licensee, with records kept by both units. Related standards include IS 3589 for steel pipes for water and sewage and IS 4923 for hollow steel sections for structural use.
So a pipe ERP has to carry the coil's heat number and each shift's control unit all the way to the bundle and the test certificate. We work with Bahadurgarh units from our Kasni branch, also in Jhajjar district, and our Sector 84 office in Gurgaon. There is no DVM Techno office in Bahadurgarh, so the requirement study and training take place at your plant.

What makes pipe and tube work different
- Steel comes in by the tonne, but many orders are booked in pieces or metres, so every size needs a weight-to-length conversion
- One coil becomes several slit strips, several pipe sizes and some scrap, and its heat number has to follow all of them
- Theoretical weight and weighed weight rarely match, and the gap shows up in yield and in billing
- Galvanising adds zinc and weight, and it is often done at another unit on job work
- Every bundle leaves with a tag, a weighbridge slip and, when the buyer asks, a mill test certificate
Steel pipe ERP
Steel pipe ERP modules in Bahadurgarh.
The modules a Bahadurgarh pipe and tube mill needs, set up around your sizes, classes, mills and buyers.
- Coil inward by heat & weightHR or CR coils received against the weighbridge slip and supplier test certificate, with heat number, grade, width, thickness and weight, and an ID for every coil.
- Slitting plans & strip stockSlitting plans that cut each coil into strip widths for your pipe sizes, with side-trim weight recorded and every slit coil keeping its mother coil's heat number.
- Tube-mill production & end cutsShift-wise output per mill by size, thickness and class — pieces, length and weight — with control units, short lengths, end cuts and rejects booked as scrap.
- Theoretical vs actual weightYour own weight formulas for round, square and rectangular sections, compared with the weighed bundle, so yield and the gap on each order are visible.
- Galvanising & test certificatesBlack pipe sent for galvanising in-house or on job work, weight before and after, and test results stored per control unit for printing mill test certificates.
- Bundle tags, dealer orders & dispatchBundle tags with size, class and batch; dealer orders in tonnes or pieces; dispatch against the weighbridge slip with GST invoice, e-way bill, e-invoice and Tally export.

FAQs
Steel pipe ERP in Bahadurgarh — FAQs.
Straight answers to what Bahadurgarh business owners ask before they start.
Can the ERP trace a heat number from coil to finished bundle?
Yes. The heat number is entered when a coil arrives, carried to each slit coil, and recorded against the control unit when the strip is run on the tube mill. Bundle tags and test certificates then show it. The trace is only as good as the entries made at slitting and at the mill.
Can the ERP read weights straight from our weighbridge?
It depends on the device. Many indicators have a serial or USB output the ERP can read; we check your model first. If it cannot be connected, the operator enters the slip number and weight.
Are the theoretical weight formulas fixed?
No. Formulas are set up for each shape — round, square and rectangular — from outside size and thickness, and you can load your own weight tables instead. Galvanised pipe can have its own allowance, and you can change formulas later.
Will the ERP make our pipes BIS compliant?
No software can do that. Your BIS licence, testing and marking remain your responsibility. The ERP keeps test results per control unit, prints bundle tags and mill test certificates in your formats, and keeps a separate record of rejected material, so records are easy to show when asked.
Our galvanising is done at another unit. Can the ERP track it?
Yes. Black pipe goes out on a job-work challan with pieces and weight, comes back against it with the galvanised weight, showing the balance with the galvaniser and the weight gained per lot.
Internet at the mill drops often. Will the ERP still work?
It needs a network, but not always the internet. One option is a local server at your plant, so mill and store entries carry on over your own network when the internet is down; e-way bills and e-invoices wait until the connection returns.
We keep everything in Excel today. How do we move?
We import your coil register, pipe stock by size, dealer balances and open orders from your sheets, check totals with you, and can run Excel alongside for a short period.
Do you have an office in Bahadurgarh?
No. Our branch is in Kasni, in Jhajjar district, and our main office is in Sector 84, Gurgaon. We visit your plant for the requirement study and training, and handle day-to-day support over phone and WhatsApp.
